Any number of databases found on-line will state that the wife of Jonas Weed was Mary Hoyt or Mary Scofield. Both the Hoyt and Scofield names are common in 17th century New England. However, the maiden name for Jonas Weed's wife is never mentioned in any known colonial or family record.
