Dear Fellow Managers,

I have the date of death for Obadiah Holt as January 17, 1738. I believe I got this from the Mormon database probably 10-15 years ago. It was during the early days of my research and I was much less careful about quoting sources. I also could have transcribed the 1730 to 1738. Anyway, I was wondering if one of you had a good source for the death date?

I queried http://www.familysearch.org and get a few slightly conflicting records, but basically:

Mother: Hannah FARNHAM

Hi Erica, my records say he died Jan.24,1739, but below it says " estimated". also father Samuel Holt JR. My spelling on his wife is R. Farnum. Thats all I have. Linda

Thanks for the quick responses! In the absence of any original source data that provides something more definitive, it seems like the Jan 24, 1739 date is the one to use. I'm going to update it here until we learn something more.
