It's been interesting reading about Grandpa Price. Some of it I don't remember, but I think we all experienced him in different ways. When Dan and I were 6, Jeannie had polio and was in Wichita in the hospital that summer with the folks. Dan and I stayed at our grandparent's farms all summer - 1 week at the Price's and the next at the Kolb's and then back at the Price's again. It was an exciting time for 6-year-olds.
I had forgotten that Grandpa had worked at a movie theater, and I've never been good at identifying cars except for colors. I remember the grind stone in their back yard on Dirr Street after they moved to Parsons. It had a seat and pedals that would made the stone go around so you could sharpen tools. We thought it was fun to make the stone revolve.
