From Mr. Ira Philip's book, 'Heroines in the Medical Field of Bermuda':
"A higher tribute could hardly have been accorded Mrs. Cordelia Fubler of Somerset, than that of being the Doyenne of Nursing in Bermuda. That was when she observed her 90th birthday in 1950..."
"Mrs. Fubler was idolized by her own children, grandchildren and extended family".
Clearly she was an outstanding person from an outstanding family of many high achievers. I'm very interested in learning as much as I can about her. Who, would you say, is the authority on the history of this family.
And I note that her maiden name is now shown as Ditmas-Simmons. Perhpas an overview of Cordelia Fubler (and other Simmonses) should be re-written...
