That bad profile was from a user who is no longer with geni, and controlled a bunch of "zombies" too. Nasty and clogging up the tree!
I was able to clear it up and make them "public" and therefore mergeable. I may now show as the "primary manager" on some profiles in the area. Because you collaborate with me, you should have no difficulty in merging them now. And if you'd like me to transfer over any profiles, just drop me a note with the ones you'd like to "manage."
