Geni is not supposed to be a work of lurid fiction.

Somebody must have made a bad merge. Or two or three.

This person is stated to be:
Alexander Stewart, Lord Avondale, Alexander Stewart, John Stewart, Earl of Atholl, Walter Stuart, Alexander, Margaret Methvin, Alexander, Eleanor Sinclair and Elizabeth Arnot

(I can't even find him in my FTM file, which is probably where my version came from!)

Robin,
you might want to ask a Curator to look into fixing this. You would do that by posting a link to the profile here: http://www.geni.com/discussions/6000000009835758162

I'd help, but I don't know diddly about these early "nobility".

Robin and Shmuel

I already fixed it soon after Robin posted the original issue.

Robin's diagnosis was half-right. There were two obviously incorrect merges that were stacked and not yet completed. Unstacking those at least solved the immediate problem of four fathers and three mothers.

I am not a curator or even a Pro, and I also don't know too much about early nobility. Sometimes, as in this case, the problem can be fixed without any fancy tools or specialist knowledge. You don't always need to run to a curator for help.

David

Thank you, gentlemen. I'm sorry the "Son of" got lost in my pasting, making my statement incorrect.
I was hoping someone like David, familiar with manipulating medievals and others, would be able to diagnose and fix the problem. Good!

Another of my 13th great uncles who can rest a little easier!

No problem Robin - I fully understood what you meant. Glad to be able to help.
