Are you all researching through the DAR?

I will be researching many ways....includihng the DAR, the SAR, etc....but wont be restricted to accepted ancestors in the DAR/SAR.

i have many lines to the dar, but i my self am not in the dar, how would you like things documented for addition to this project?

Just to clarify -- if my ancestor has a DAR/SAR ancestor number, I should including their profile in this project?

Similar issue as Kathy -- I may not be a direct descendant (I am for sure in one case) but I have no plans to join the DAR at this time.

Yes, please include your ancestors if they served in the Rev. War, regardless of their DAR/SAR status or yours. If they have a DAR/SAR number, and you know it, please include it in the "about me" section.
Anything you can add regarding their service, pension files etc would be great.

I've generally included images from the DAR database of their record as an attached document, and I'll make sure the DAR/SAR number shows in the "overview."

Prepare for the non-generals! :)
