I have been mapping where all my grand parents were born and I cannot find this location in England? Does anyone have any tips?

John

Guernsey is one of the Channel Islands, just off the coast of France (near Cherberg). It has been a British possession for centuries and is generally regarded as part of the UK, although it has its own parliament and tax laws.

Although there are quite a few French surnames in Guernsey, the population is essentially English and speak with English accents. The other Channel Islands are Jersey (the largest), Alderney and Sark.

No wonder I couldn't find it. I have it located now. Thank you both so much! - John
