I have tried to find Hannah many times in the Irish Census and Birth records but I cannot find anyone who matches what is here. There were Meaneys in the Rower in Co. Kilkenny, many of them, but none quite match. On Griffiths Valuation List Meaneys listed have a different name beside them which is quite unusual.
I feel that the date listed for Hannah's birth is too late, taking other things into account. I got the following from Karen DelV.
"This is the information my aunt Maureen got from Catholic Cemeteries in Peoria, Ill on who is buried in the Dunne grave.
Hannah Meaney Dunne born 1893 and died November 17,1957 (64 years old), James Dunne died 11/14/1945 (67 years old), Thomas Furlong died 6/8/1959 (age 88) record shows 1871 as date of birth, also he may have died on the 7th, 8th, or 9th as the 10th may be the burial date. Mary Hoben born 9/15/1890, died 1/5/1950 (age 59years) John Meaney died 3/16/1950 (age 70). Hannah and Mary are sisters and John is their brother. So far in this 16 grave plot Thomas Furlong is the last one buried, there has to be someone or a will overseeing this plot. The plot was purchased by Hannah on 11/15/1945. St. Marys cemetery is in the west of Peoria.
