I have two problems associated with Lu Zhong (陸終).
Firstly it is in determining the names for the six sons for Lu Zhong (陸終) from as quoted from the various sources given below:
“The six sons were: eldest Fan 樊 (also known as Fan Ren 樊人), second Ding 定 (also known as Hui Lian 惠连), third Qian (also known as Qiankeng 钱铿), fourth Qiu 求 (also known as Qiuyan 求言), fifth Yan An 晏安 (also known as Cao An 曹安 or Zao An 遭安), and the sixth, Ji 季 (also known as Ji Lian 季连).”
“Lu Zhong (陸終), an eighth generation descendant of Huang Di (黃帝) or the Yellow Emperor, had six sons and the eldest one was Fan (樊).”
“Lu Zhong (陸終), an eighth generation descendant of Huangdi (黃帝) or the Yellow Emperor, had six sons and his third son was called Jian Keng (籛鏗).”
“Legend has it that, the sixth son of Lu Zhong (陸終), who was a descendant of Huang Di (黃帝) or the Yellow Emperor, was called Jilian (季連), who was being bestowed upon the surname of Mie (羋).”
Secondly, CHUNG Yoon-Ngan had stated that “Lu Zhong (陸終), an eighth generation descendant of Huangdi (黃帝)”. However from the various Huang () zupus that I have, Lu Zhong (陸終) generation with respect to Huangdi (黃帝) differs from one zupu to another. Could @黄偉豪 Christopher Ly share what is stated in his Jiapu?
