There are a number of projects devoted to the early settlers of Connecticut and Massachusetts, that you may want to follow or collaborate in, including:

Hartford, CT
Malden, MA
Milford, CT
New Haven, CT
Roxbury, MA
Taunton, MA

You can find them by searching on the name in Projects. Most start with "Early Settlers of ..." or "Original Planter/Proprietors of ..."

To be added as a collaborator, email one of the collaborators. As a collaborator, you have broader editing permission on the profiles in the project.

I am interested in the history of the early families - their origin, which families intermarried, their impact on the settlement and role they played, etc. We are adding profiles to the project, cleaning up trees, improving the About Me narratives, adding sources, and adding documents and images. If you are a descendant and have knowledge to contribute, please take a look at the town your ancestors are from.

Also, there are interesting Colonial American towns that still need projects, e.g., Windsor, CT.
