I tried to view the tree of somebody who has just joined Geni and who has accepted my request to collaborate, but can't view the tree to help her remove profiles, and I don't understand why this is happening....any advice gratefully accepted, guys. Also, she's not a Pro user and is already considering taking everything out of Geni, which would be a shame. Cheers, Lynne.
Collaborating is really useful on historic profiles, but won't allow you to see a member's private tree. If you are helping her with her private tree, you might have to add her to your family. You can do this by going to her profile and it is under the actions menu. This isn't related to being a pro or not a pro.

Oh, thank you so much, Michelle....I did this just a short while ago. I'm glad that it's not another Pro vs non-Pro issue. We already have a can of worms there! :))
