Aaron was a native of Sandt's Eddy, but was a resident of Easton nearly all of his life. He lived at 1045 Lehigh St. prior to his final illness and death.
At the outbreak of the Civil War, he enlisted as a member od Company C, 153rd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. At the close of the war, he entered the employ of the Lehigh Valley Rail Road Co. at its shops in South Easton, where he remained until 1899. He then went to Sayre, Pa, where he was employed by the same company.
He was a member of Lafayette Post No. 217, G.A.R. He was also a member of the First Moravian Church of Easton.
