Born May 15, 1922 in Negrovo (former Czechoslovakia)

From 1942–1944, he was part of the Hungarian Forced Labor. He also worked for the German military in Poland

From September–October 1944, he was in a ghetto in Kosice, Hungary (now Slovakia)

From October 1944–February 1945, he was in Hidegseg, Germany (sub-camp of Mauthausen, supervised by German SS)

From February–March 1945, he was transferred to the main camp of Mauthausen in Austria

From March–May 1945, he was transferred to Gunskirchen (sub-camp of Mauthausen), Austria

Liberated by the US Army on May 9, 1945

Moved to Chicago in October, 1947
