Notes for ABNER TAYLOR MCINTOSH: Abner T. bought land in Taney County, Mo. on 3/13/1895 based on records filed Springfield, Mo with Bureau of Land Management. NENW22/22-N17-WN. Abner apparently moved sometime between 1899 (last child born in April of that year in Missouri) and 1900 to Oklahoma or Texas.He was not on the 1900 census in Missouri or Arkansas.1910 Census has him and his family in Granite, Greer County, Oklahoma. A daughter Laura marries in Mangum, Greer County in 1904, at age 16, so they were probably there too. The 1920 census Madge Township, Harmon County, Oklahoma , shows Abner with his wife Nancy A., daugs. Mary, 20....Martha, 22.....Frankie,20. Since son Leonard had a daughter in Harmon County, Leona born 12/11/1924, parts of the family at least were in Harmon County.Leona died in 1936 in San Jon, New Mexico.It is now known that Abner died in the 1920's and his wfie Nancy in the 1930's in Shamrock, Wheeler County, Texas.
