About Abraham Andrus, Sr., of Waterbury

Do we really think that he married at 16 and had a child at 17 (Rebecca b. 1672 in Waterbury)?

This profile is mixed up with Abraham Andrews, of Farmington

Robert Porter of Hartford/Milford/Farmington had two daughters who married two sons of Francis Andrews.

Elizabeth Porter married Thomas Andrews b. 1647 in Hartford. Sarah (Porter) Andrews Benedict married Abraham Andrews b. 1655ish in probably Farmington.

This profile, Abraham Andrews/Andrus married Sarah Porter and according to the probate records, he died in 1693 leaving Sarah (she is named as Porter in the distribution because she sells her home/estate to her brother Porter whom Abraham purchased it originally from) with children named in birth order: SARAH, ABRAHAM, MARY, BENJAMIN, ROBERT (born posthumously). She remarried a man from Norwalk, Fairfield County and removed with all her children whom ALL MARRIED outside of Waterbury. No child stayed in Waterbury nor did they marry a Waterbury person).
