About Abraham Brosius
Abraham Brosius, born c. 1761 in Atalhoe, Tulpehocken region, Berks County, Pa., son of Johan Nicolaus Brosius and Anna Barbara Schaeffer.
On June 16, 1788 at Stouchsburg Lutheran Church, he married the young widow, Mrs. Maria Catherine Schneider, whose maiden name is unknown. They moved to Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, Pa. in the early 1770's, where they both died: Abraham died c. 1843 and Maria Catherine died in 1816.
