About Abraham Weisberger

1869 Census Record

Abraham's time of passing,1889, is based on the birth of his first son Illes's (Elias) first son Nathan in 1888 and second son Abraham in 1890 & the second marriage of his widowed wife Toba in 1891 (row 2). However, he also had a grandson Abraham born in 1886 to his son Chajm Jozsef.

Information on the pre-1870 years of birth of Abraham and Toba's children is from the 1869 Census and in subsequent years from sources found in Trees on Ancestry and My Heritage.

Abraham's Mikova was a satellite village of Stropkov, also from where its district gets its name. Stropkov-based Rabbis would be responsible for entire rabbinate. See http://kehilalinks.jewishgen.org/Stropkov/RabbisStropkov5.htm
