About Absolom Moore Matlock
Absolom fought in the war of 1812 as a private in the Kentucky Volunteer Infantry. Absolom Married Elizabeth some time after the death of Hannah in 1820. Absolom M. died Jan. 1, 1840 in Warren Co., Ky. his wife, Elizabeth applied for a pension on Jan. 21, 1856 for her husband's military service in the War of 1812. It was granted to her on April 1, 1856. Notes for Hannah Moore: Her sister married a Light who shows next to Hugh Moore in 1800 Pendelton Dist. S.C., Hugh's brother Luke lived next to Jacob Light in 1790 Greenville S.C.
