Ada J. Mast

SHREVE —Ada J. (Troyer) Mast, 78, of 8190 Township Road 527, Shreve died Thursday afternoon, Dec. 5, 2019 at her home.

She was born June 28, 1941 in Sugarcreek to the late John E. and Lydiann (Troyer) Troyer and married Levi C. Mast on May 4, 1961. He preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2001. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are her 12 children, Marlene (Rudy) Hershberger of Farmerstown, Gary (Verna) Mast of Shreve, Merle (Barbara) Mast of Claypool, IN, David (Fannie)Mast of Millersburg, Alan (Dena) Mast of West Union, Ruth Ann (David) Yoder of Butler, Myron (Arlene) Mast and Rosanna (Allen) Weaver of Holmesville, Duane ( Mabel) Mast, Marie (Jonas) Hershberger, Luella (Joni) Miller and Naomi (John) Miller all of Shreve; 64 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren and 54 step-great grandchildren and 4 brothers and 2 sisters, Ben (Esther) Troyer of Crab Orchard, KY, Mel (Verna) Troyer of Glenmont, Jonas (Barbara) Troyer of Sugarcreek, Vernon Troyer of Denver, CO, Ann (Andy who is deceased) Miller and Barbara (Clarence) Yoder of Sugarcreek.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be Sunday, Dec. 8th at 9:00 a.m. at the Paul Troyer Residence, 8191 Township Road 527. Shreve, with Bishop Allen E. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Keim Cemetery. Friends may call anytime at the Mast Residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
