Ada Elizabeth Rightmire was born Jan. 1, 1866 at Walnut, Bureau County, Illinois. She was the second child of William and Margaret Kimmell Rightmire. She married Marion Sylvester Stradley on December 15, 1885. They were married by the Methodist minister from Afton.
