  Albert C. Theis, 74, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Peplinski, 723 East King street after an illness of three months. Mr. Theis was born in Germany November 23, 1868. He retired ten years ago from work in the Winona Machine and Foundry Company where he was employed for 28 years. His wife died in February, 1925. Survivors are six sons, Leo, Frank, Joseph, Andrew, Marcellus and Ernest, all of Winona; five daughters, Mrs. John Schultz, Ellsworth, Wis., Mrs. Harry Kaiser, Mrs. George Schmidt, and Mrs. Joseph Peplinski, Winona, and Miss Hildegard Theis, Stevens Point, Wis., a brother Leo, Winona, and a sister, Mrs. Frances Heaser, Minneiska.

  Funeral services will be conducted at St. Joseph's church, of which Mr. Theis was a member for 49 years, Saturday at 9 a.m. after a short service at the Peplinski home, the Rev. B.A. Kramer officiating. the rosary will be said tonight at the home.
