The Daily Notes, Canonsburg PA, Friday 23 November 1934, front page - ADALINE CALDWELL DIES IN HOSPITAL


Following a lingering illness MISS ADALINE CALDWELL of the Thompsonville section, died this morning at the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. The body was taken to the residence of J. C. HOPPER, 533 Dewey Avenue, Bridgeville, where it may be viewed until 1 p.m. Sunday, when it will be removed to the Center Presbyterian Church where funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock. They will be in charge of the Rev. R. B. Wilson, with interment in the church cemetery. Miss Caldwell was a daughter of JOSEPH and AGNES CALDWELL and was born and spent her entire life in Thompsonville and was well and favorable known. She is survived by two sisters, MRS. JENNIE CALDWELL HOPPER and MRS. W. P. HOPPER, both of Bridgeville. (Note: Thompsonville is in Peters Township, Washington Co PA.)
