About Adam Edward Brull

Manitowoc, Wis. -- Adam Brull, 91, died Thursday at a hospital here following a short illness.

He was born and raised in Hays, and worked for Anderson Food Product’s and Wiesner’s Grocery before moving in 1924.

He is survived by five sons and one daughter; two brothers, Joe, Kansas City, Isidore, Victoria; three sisters, Mrs. Monica Dechant, Kansas City, Mrs. Agatha Arnold, Hays, and Mrs. Anna Moore, Hays.

Funeral services will be Saturday in Wisconsin.

Adam Brull and Anna Befort were married at Munjor, Kansas on Oct. 1, 1901. They had ten children while living in Hays, Kansas and one more after moving to Wisconsin in 1924. Adam was contracted by the Kimberly Clark Beet Company to recruit Kansas families to move to Wisconsin. In 1927 the Brulls moved to Two Rivers, where Adam was employed by the Hamilton Manutfacturing Company for 26 years. He retired in 1952. Anna died in 1962 and Adam died in 1973.
