Adam Mair

"Adam Mair and Mary Marshall were married April 3, 1860 by the Minister of Cadder, Church of Scotland, in Auchinairn, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Adam, following in his father's footsteps, was an iron miner.

Sadly, Mary died at the age of 29 after an 18-month struggle with tuberculosis of the lungs, and her death came as a pauper in the Glasgow City Poor House. It is not known yet what brought about Mary's unfortunate situation, or what became of Adam and their child."
