Adam E. Troyer

MILLERSBURG - Adam E. Troyer, 86, of CR 135, Millersburg, went home to Jesus on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Sycamore Run in Millersburg.

He was born in Holmes County on June 22, 1932 to the late Eli and Lizzie (Miller) Troyer and he married the former, Amanda Kline in October of 1957 and she survives.

He was very proud to serve his 1-W service at Union Hospital in Dover and was a founding member of Grace Mennonite Church in Berlin. He had worked at Holmes Limestone and then worked at the Outback Pizzeria. He loved to fish, operate his bulldozer and mow the lawn. He especially loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by them.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Deb (Harold) Troyer and David (Connie) Troyer both of Millersburg, Brenda Troyer of Sugarcreek and Jan (Brian) Boley of Millersburg; grandchildren, Sheena (Jason) Mullet, Christopher (Brittany) Troyer, Elana (Junior) Miller, Olivia Galbreath and Cassidy Galbreath; great grandchildren, Brayley Mullet, Shylo Mullet, Pyper Mullet, Saylor Mullet, Hayden Miller, Merritt Miller and Hudson Troyer; and his brothers and sisters, John (Edna) Troyer and Katie (John) Miller both of Millersburg, Mose (Amanda) Troyer of Sugarcreek, Esther (John) Schlabach of Millersburg and Eli (Katie) Troyer of Sugarcreek.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Grace Mennonite Church with Pastor Larry Kaufman officiating. Private burial was held in the church cemetery prior to services. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
