WHITMAN
Mrs. Addie M. (Woodward) Hubbard, 78, wife of Hugh F. Hubbard, 14 Auburn St., died Monday, July 11, at the Lawrence Nursing Home in Rockland after a long illness. A native of Somerville, daughter of the late Charles H. and Sarah A. (Monroe) Woodward, she had lived in Whitman most of her married life. She was a member of the first Congregational Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Hugh F. Hubbard, Jr. of East Bridgewater; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Putnam of Whitman; a sister, Mrs. Etta Cater of Halifax and six grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at the Anderton Funeral Home, 609 Washington St. Whitman, Thursday, July 14 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Paul E. Sinn, minister of the First Congregational church, officiating. Interment will be in High Street Cemetery, Whitman.
