About Adelaide Horner Roddy

The Rev. John Brett Langstaff, who is taking Dr. Bowies place at the Grace Church Broadway and Tenth Street for the summer, will preach tomorrow morning on "Woman aa Preachers." and his sermon will be a tribute to Adelaide Landon Roddy, who died of spinal meningitis this week while on her honeymoon to Vancouver. Mrs. Roddy was the daughter of Francis Griswold Landon, a vestryman of Grace Church. She was a preacher, having taken her degree at Union Theological Seminary in 1927 and later studying at Oxford. Mrs. Roddy waa a member of the Junior League and other organizations. She was a frequent preacher at Grace Church and was married there this summer to Clyde H. Roddy, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, North Arlington, N. J.
