Adeline C. Theis, 84 Cold Spring May 9, 1925 – October 11, 2009 Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Adeline Theis, age 84, who died after a battle with cancer and met our Lord on Sunday. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday (TODAY) at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring and from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in the Narthex of St. Boniface Church. The St. Boniface Christian Women will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m. and Parish Prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Adeline was born in Eden Valley, MN to Ben and Anna (Braun) Nistler. On September 5, 1949 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Edwin Theis in Assumption Catholic Church, Eden Valley, MN. Adeline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was at home until her youngest child went to school; then she took a job as a cook at St. Boniface Elementary School. Adeline enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and baking, playing cards and she loved to dance and listen to music. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish, Christian Women and an Assumption Nursing Home resident in Cold Spring for 4 years and 8 months.

Survivors include her children, Anna Marie (Richard) Holdvogt of New Munich, Donna (Irvin) Wolbeck of Sauk Centre, Terri of Colorado Springs, CO, Ron (Karen) of Richmond and Thomas (Kathy) of Eden Valley; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ralph (Marie) Nistler of St. Cloud and George (Ann) Nistler of Woodbury. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eddie on April 13, 2009; parents; sister, Mary Theisen and brothers, Bernard, Ed and Ray.
