Letter of intro for George Wyndham (a younger cousin)
As you were kind enough to say that you would give a letter of introduction & recommendation to the Governor of New South Wales in favour of a young relation of mine who, with his wife, is about to settle in that Colony;
I trouble you with this letter to state that his name is George Wyndham, younger son of one of the oldest families in Wiltshire, of very good character, and, as you may suppose, of an active and enterprising mind –
If in addition to a letter of introduction you can render him any other service you will by so doing very greatly oblige
Yours very truly
