About Adrian Carlyle Kitchen

Born to John C. & Ethel Robinson Kitchen.

Love, honor & duty were not just wods to Adrian, they were a standard of living for him. Growing up, all he wanted was to be a cowboy and hunt but life led him in other directions. He served two years in the Army, stationed in Korea. He has been a truck driver and worked onthe Glen Canyon Dam in Page, AZ, retiring from the Park Service there. He was also a reserve officer for the Deptartment of Public Safety in AZ for several years. When he moved back to Kanab he became a part time deputy sheriff for Kane County and contued working there part time for several years.

He had a love for his family and his "critters". He enjoyed his roses and his garden in town and loved being on the mountain with all the wildlife. He preferred being outside doing anything, whether hunting or working at a task. He considered the day wasted if you did not accomplish something.

He had a great love for his country and his favorite holiday was the 4th of July. He honored Memorial Day and Veterans Day and all the men and women who have served and died for their country. He was handy at doing all kinds of odd jobs, always volunteering his services to widows, fixing furnaces, plumbing and anything that he could to help them. Always willing to lend a helping hand to those that needed it. He will be missed and remembered by many and the influence he has had in their lives.

Adrian is survived by his wife Sandra, children John, Amanda "Mandy", & Adrienne; sister Marlene Turner, 3 grandchildren & a step-son Ronald Tribukait.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 siblings, Arlene Lathim and Elva Lee Jackson and a daughter Cecily Napier.

Interred in the Kanab Cemetery on Dec 22. A memorial service held Jan 7, 2013 at the Kanab South Chapel. Arrangements made with Mosdell Mortuary of Kanab, UT
