BARMORE.—On Thursday, January 19, 1882, at three o'clock P. M., at Rockland Lake, EFFIE BARMORE, widow of the late Nathaniel Barmore, in the 103d year of her age. Funeral services will be held at one o'clock P. M. on Monday, 23d inst., at her late residence. Carriages will meet trains of Northern Railroad of New Jersey leaving Chambers street ferry at 8:50 A. Aefje (Affey)' Onderdonk (Adrian', Adrian", Adrian", Andries1), b. Sept. 2, 1779, at Rockland Lake, N. Y.; d. Jan. 20, 1882, aged 102 years, at Rockland Lake, N. Y.; m., Feb. 6, 1805, at Tappan, Nathaniel Barmore.
When Affey Barmore was about 98 years of age she was once visited by distant kin, who found her paring pears for canning, and .able to go up and down a flight of stairs every day. Her daughter, aged about 78, was then keeping house for her.
