About Agapito Calumpang
Agapito Silva Calumpang was a cabeza de barangay and gobernadorcillo of Tanjay, Negros Oriental. He served as the town's first vice presidente municipal from 1901 to 1903, while his brother-in-law Jose Muñoz was presidente municipal and his nephew Felix Barot was juez de paz. He later served as presidente municipal from 1904 to 1906, and was in the municipal council up to the 1920s.
