Mrs. Forte, 39, Succumbs In Hospital
Mrs. Agnes Watson Forte, 39, RD 4 (Rome-Floyd Rd.), passed away Saturday afternoon in a Rome hospital where she had been a patient since last Tuesday.
She was born in Kirkville, N.Y., May 15, 1921, daughter of Merrill and Marguerite Case Stook, and came to Rome a year ago from Camden.
Mrs. Forte was twice married. Her first husband was Edgar Watson, who died in August of 1955. A year later in Vernon she was married to Walter Forte.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Nancy Watson, at home; six sons, James Watson, 989 Blandina St.,
Utica; William Watson, with the Army at Ft. Devans, Mass.; Nelson, Edgar Jr., Frank and Frederick Watson, all at home; four stepchildren, Mrs. Nelson Hull of
Syracuse, Richard Forte Sr. of Westernville and Walter and Melvin Forte, at home, and four stepgrandchildren, Carol Hull, Richard Forte Jr. and David and Anna Marie Forte.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m Tuesday at the Waldo Wiggins Prince Home for Funerals with the Rev. Paul A. Boriack, pastor of St. John's Lutheran
Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Chittenango Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are this afternoon and tonight.
