Agnes Sarah Funk

18 May 1966: Mrs. Agnes S. Funk, 82, died at 3:20 a.m. today at her home, 533 W. Penn Ave., Cleona. She was the wife of the Rev. Jacob B. Funk, who served 44 years as pastor of the Fairland Brethren in Christ Church, Cleona. Mrs. Funk had been a member of Fairland Church for 67 years and was active in church work. She was a member of the Bible Sunday School Class and the sewing circle of the church and for many years taught a Sunday School class. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Miss Eva K. Funk, at home; Anna, wife of Mabrie Goins, Fresno, Calif.; and Mildred, wife of Martin Heisey, Washington Boro, Pa.; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Rufus, Felix and Jonas Kreider, all of Annville, and Noah Kreider, Palmyra, and a sister, Mrs. Rosa Funk, Cleona. She was a daughter of the late Jonas B. and Ida Zinn Kreider. [Lebanon Daily News]
