Mrs. Agnes Nelson Funeral rites for Mrs. Agnes Nelson, 87, of 1220 Drake st., a former resident of Deerfield, who died Monday in a hospital here after a long illness, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Liberty Prairie Lurtheran Church, Deerfield. The Rev. Rober Knudson of East Koshkonong Lutheran Church will officiate, and burial will be in the Liberty Prairie cemetery.
Friends may call at the Schulz funeral home, Deerfield, until noon Thursday when the body will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Nelson's husband died a number of years ago.
The former Agnes Engelstad was born in Norway and came to the United States when she was a child.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Birkrem, Deerfield; and Mrs. Mabel Johnson, 1220 Drake st.; two brothers, Fred, 1315 Bowen ct., and Bendie, Cambridge; a sister, Mrs. Anna Henderson, Cambridge; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
