Graveside service for Agnes Jeanette Seay, 93, of Piedmont will be Monday, August 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Seay passed away Wednesday, August 04, 2021 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden. She is survived by two sons, Thomas O. Seay (Marie) and Timothy Seay (Rebecca), all of Huntsville; two grandchildren, Thomas Odell Seay, Jr and Christine Klingbeil (William), all of Huntsville; four great-grandchildren, Jackson Seay, Connor Seay, Sophia Klingbeil and Elliott Klingbeil; son-in-law, Anthony Maddamma of Orlando, Florida and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Trammell, Connor Seay, Timmy Seay, Tommy Seay, Jr., William Klingbeil and Jason Flanagan. Mrs. Seay was a native of Piedmont and a former resident of Detroit, Michigan where she worked at the Chrysler Motor Company. She and Mr. Seay had lived in Huntsville, Alabama before returning back home to Piedmont. She enjoyed music and going to yard sales. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Seay was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Seay; daughter, Diane Maddamma; parents, Lawrence and Edna Norton; and one brother, Thomas Norton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge, 1104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205. Thompson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
