AGNES SEMPILL

Agnes Sempill, here treated, is the daughter of Robert Sempill in Linwood, elder The name of her mother is not known. She was born before 8 September 1652, the date upon which her baptism was registered at Kilbarchan in Renfrewshire, Scotland. She was probably born at Linwood there. He baptismal record reads as follows: "The qlk day Rot Sempile in Linwood his daughter is baptized named Agnes Witnesss Andro Sempile & James Sempile."
