Agnes Wasinger, 84, a homemaker, died June 9, 1996, at a local care facility.
Friends may call from noon to 7 p.m. today at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St. A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. today at Nolan Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral, 22 W. Kiowa St.
Mrs. Wasinger was born Feb. 19, 1912, in Colby, Kan., to Henry and Victoria (Martell) Bedore.
She was married Nov. 14, 1934, in Hays, Kan., to George P. Wasinger, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, George P. Jr. of Colorado Springs; three daughters, Anna Marie Casey of Guilford, Conn., and Mary Udell and Sandra Rice, both of Colorado Springs; five sisters, Leah Thomas of Holdenville, Okla., Jeanette Smith of Smith Center, Kan., Rose Erbert and Anita Thyfault, both of Hays, and Alma Bengson of Oroville, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bill; a brother, Jiggs Bedore; and a sister, Georgia Schmidt.
Mrs. Wasinger was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral. She had lived in Colorado Springs for more than 40 years.
