Aksel Iverson, age 91, died on Tuesday, July 13, 1993, at Merlter-Park Hospital, following a brief Illness. He was born on May 3, 1902, in Norway, and came to the United States In 1925, at the age of 23. He married LaVelva Kleinfeldt on July 3, 1958 in Dubuque, Iowa She preceded him In death on June 28, 1985. Aksel worked in the Edgerton Janesville area on various farms and at the General Motors plant, retiring in 1967, after 29 years of employment. He had also worked with Highway Trailer Industries of Edgerton. He served In World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 30 in Edgerton. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters In Norway.
