About Alan Frederick McIntyre
Obituary
McINTYRE, Alan Frederick - 67, Kingston, died Sunday in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Saint John, N.B., he was a son of the late Roy and Edna (Collins) McIntyre. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Royal Canadian Navy. He retired from C. E. Supply at CFB Greenwood in 1988. He is survived by his wife, the former Marjorie Webster; two daughters, Alana, Beverly (Mrs. Gordon Gray), both of Greenwood; three sons, Cary, Wilmot; David, Greenwood; Eugene, Kingston; a sister, Mrs. Helen Chesley, Ontario; three brothers, Harold, Saint John; Kenney, London, Ont.; Arthur, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by a sister and five brothers. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in All Saints Anglican Church, Kingston, Rev. Kenneth Vaughan officiating. Interment of ashes will be at sea. Kingston Branch No. 98, Royal Canadian Legion, will conduct a service 7 p.m. Wednesday in Warren T. Roop's Funeral Home, Middleton. Donations may be made to Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
