About Albert Alexander Mercer
Albert's parents were Nicholas Mercer (1851-1906) and Mary Ibbotson (1851-1927). His siblings were John, Thomas, Gertrude, Nicholas, Ellen, Frank and Henry. Albert went to Canada in 1907. Albert married Anna Lavinia Rodgers (1891-1960) in 1911 in British Columbia, Canada. Together they had five children Helen, Robert, Thomas, Frank and Gertrude. He came to the US in 1929 in Washington. He was listed as a pattern maker at a brass and pattern company. He registered in the US for WWII. He passed away at the age of 89 in New York. His grandson is billionaire Robert Leroy Mercer.
