About Albert Armstrong Cook
Albert A. Cook, 91, a retired farmer of Rt. 1 Mt Solon, died thursday evening at Bridgewater Home, where he lived 14 months.
Mr. Cook was born Jan. 7, 1891, at Mt Solon, where he spent his entire life. He was a son of the late Isaac and Martha Jane Wichael Cook.
He was a member of Emmanuel Church of the Brethren near Mt Solon.
His wife, the former Zeno Howdyshell, died Sept. 25, 1932.
Surviving are two daughters, Mattie Wagner of Bridgewater and Cora Whitson of Harrisonburg; two sons, Emory and Loyd Cook, both of Mt Solon; a stepson Roy Cook of College Park Md.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 48 step-great grandchildren; and six step-great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at McMullen Bridgewater Funeral by the Revs. Dean Fawley and Guy West. Burial wil be in Emmanuel Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
