1907 Jun 14 - Arrival. “New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957,” Ancestry.com (Online: The Generations Network, Inc., 2008), Albert Fuchs, arrived 14 June 1907 on ship President Lincoln, from Hamburg, <http://www.ancestry.com>, subscription database, accessed January 2008. This individual was age 17 (thus born about 1890), a barber, Hungarian nationality, German race, last residence Kaptalanfalia, headed to St. Louis, going to sister Ewa Fuchs (Tate? 305, St. Louis, Mo.), born in Kaptalanfal__. Note: Thus his age and birthplace match the ancestor approximately. The naturalization record application the client provided said that the ancestor arrived on the Ship Kaiserin Auguste Victoria on 6 July 1907 from Hamburg - so this information conflicts. This still appears to be the ancestor on the President Lincoln. The occupation of barber is also consistent.
