Albert (85), was bludgeoned to death in his home, Poppy Lane, in Adamayview, Klerksdorp, on 28th March 2008. The murderers gained entry through the bedroom window between 18h00 and 22h00 on Friday night. The house was ransacked. Police spokesperson Capt. Adelé Myburgh said the robbers then fled with Johnny Johnson's Nissan 1400 pickup truck. The vehicle was later found abandoned.
