About Albert Rex Kerr
AlbertR.Kerr, 52, of 406 East George Street, Carmichaels died at 4 Tuesday, August 26, 1975 in the Uniontown Hospital after a brief illness. Born April 15, 1923 at Carmichaels, he was the son of the late Rex and Elizabeth Frost Kerr. His wife, Helen Menhart Kerr, died August 27, 1974. Mr. Kerr was plant manager of Grumman Allied Industries, Carmichaels Division, and was formerly employed as a miner at Crucible. He was associated with the Carmichaels Mining Machine Company and served on Carmichaels Borough Council and the Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kerr was a lifelong resident of Carmichaels and was a veteran ol World War II, serving in Africa and Italy. He was a Pennsylvania Deputy Game Protector and a member of the Carmi ch Township Sportsman Club and the Stringtown Hunting and Fishing Club. He was also a member and lay leader of the First United Methodist Church at Carmichaels. Surviving from a previous marriage are a daughter, Mrs. John R. (Beth) Lewis of Carmichaels; two sons, Albert Rusty Kerr of Carmichaels and Kevln Bruce Kerr of Carmichaels and a granddaughter. Surviving from his second marriage are a son, Randolph N. Kerr, at home, and three daughters, Wendy Sue Kerr, Dina Lee Kerr and Dayna Lynn Kerr, all at home. Also surviving are two brothers, George Raymond Kerr and Rodney Kerr, both of Carmichaels and a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Mary) Hoge of Preceeding him ln death were a sister, Ruth E„ and a brother J. Allen.
