Albert S. Mendelson, beloved husband of Millie Freud, nee Lurie; loving father of Serita (Hank) Tarlow, Claire (Julius) Ciss and Daniel (Lisa) Mendelson; and step-father of Steven (Linda) Freud, Bruce (Marta) Freud and Elissa (Steven Willis) Freud; adored grandfather of Alexandra, Miriam, Ari, Yael, Eitan, Avi and Ezra. Veteran of World War II amd was Chemist that help develop the Atomic Bomb. Services Tuesday, 12 noon at Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to friends of the Israel Defense Forces, 29 E.
