About Albert John Sanders
Albert John "Al" Sanders, 75, of Frankfort, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Clinton House.
He was born Sept. 23, 1934, in Frankfort, to Raymond and Florence Wills Sanders. On Sept. 4, 1954, he married Beverly Hazel in Frankfort, and she survives.
He was a graduate of Frankfort High School.
Mr. Sanders worked for many years as manager of F.W. Woolworth Co. in Frankfort, and also worked for Kincaid Auto Sales.
He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and Frankfort Kiwanis, and was a longtime member, past president and secretary-treasurer of Frankfort Eagles Lodge.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Gary (Jana) Sanders of Charleston, S.C., and Dave (Kathy) Sanders of Frankfort; and two daughters, Vickie Leatherman of Lafayette and Kathy (Mark) Glass of Frankfort; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 sister and a son-in-law.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010, at Archer-Weston Funeral Home, Frankfort. Services there at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010
Interment will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.
