About Alejandro Lim

Alejandro Lim was a Filipino lawyer and politician who served as governor of Antique from 1935 to 1938.

"Ando" Born in the Municipality of Tibiao Province of Antique on May 3,1903 third Child of Vicente "Lim Quin Lun" Lim and Maria Tario

He attend the Tibiao Primary School, the Iloilo Intermediate School, the Jaro Industrial School (now the Philippine Central College). And the Siliman Institute (Now Siliman University) where he finished his high school course. He then studied law in the Philippine Law School National University graduating in 1926 with the degree of bachelor of laws. He was appointed justice of the Peace of Tibiao in January 1928 and was later transferred to the Municipality of Culasi. Having resigned from said office in 1931. And presented his candidacy for Membership Provincial Board of Antique. And was elected to that office for the Term 1931-1934. In the general Election held in June 1934 he was Elected Provincial Governor of Antique he held up office up to 1938 after which he served as labor Administrator of the Department of Labor, law professor and Senior Legislature officer at Malacanang Palace.
