Alexander Boyd, 3rd Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock married Janet Colville, daughter of Sir Robert Colville and Eupheme Wallace, before 23 November 1505.[2]

He died after 26 June 1508.[2]

  • He was the son of Robert Boyd, 1st Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock and Mariot Maxwell.[1]
  • He succeeded to the title of 3rd Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock [S., c. 1454] in 1484.[1]
  • He was Chamberlain of Kilmarnock before 2 August 1488.[1]
